Day 5: Sent to the Faraway

Reading: Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 2:37-41

Devotional: The Great Commission isn't just a command—it's an invitation to participate in God's redemptive work. The promise of the Holy Spirit extends to you, your children, and those far away. "Far away" includes not just distant lands, but distant hearts—the coworker struggling with addiction, the neighbor wrestling with doubt, the family member hurt by religion. God wants to interrupt your schedule with divine appointments, moments where your simple obedience changes someone's trajectory. This doesn't require a seminary degree or a mission trip overseas. It requires daily dependence on the Holy Spirit and bold obedience in small moments. Today, be willing to let God use you right where you are.

Reflection: Who in your life is "far away" from God? How is the Holy Spirit prompting you to reach them this week?
