Day 3: Power to Witness
Reading: Acts 1:1-8; Romans 8:9-11
Devotional: The disciples walked with Jesus for three years, witnessed His resurrection, yet He told them to wait. Why? Because calling without power is just religious activity. You can know Bible stories, attend church faithfully, and serve diligently, yet remain spiritually ineffective without the Holy Spirit's power. This isn't about education or effort—it's about empowerment. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you, giving you power to overcome fear, shame, addiction, and inadequacy. You don't need to try harder; you need to walk in what's already been provided. Your witness flows naturally from an encounter with the living God, not from forced religious duty.
Reflection: Are you trying to live the Christian life in your own strength? How can you depend more on the Holy Spirit's power today?
