Day 4: Ordinary People, Extraordinary God
Reading: Acts 4:1-13; 1 Corinthians 1:26-31
Devotional: Peter and John amazed the religious leaders not because of their credentials, but because they had been with Jesus. God doesn't call the qualified; He empowers the called. Your lack of training, education, or eloquence isn't a disqualification—it's an opportunity for God's power to shine through your weakness. The world needs fewer polished professionals and more ordinary people filled with extraordinary power. Your story, messy as it may be, becomes your witness when surrendered to Him. Don't wait until you feel ready or worthy. The Holy Spirit will give you words when you need them and courage when you lack it. You simply need to be willing.
Reflection: What excuses have you been making about why God can't use you? How might your "ordinariness" actually be your greatest asset?
