Day 1: You Bear His Image

Reading: Genesis 1:26-28 -- God declares His intention to create humanity in His own image and likeness, granting them dignity and dominion as His living representatives on earth.

Devotional: Before the world told you who you are, God already declared it. You were not assembled by accident or defined by circumstance. You were deliberately crafted by the sovereign Creator of the universe, and He pressed His own likeness into your soul. Kings of the ancient world placed statues across their territories to declare ownership. God did something far greater -- He made you a living, breathing image-bearer. Your worth is not found in your career, your appearance, your accomplishments, or the opinions of others. It is rooted in the unchanging truth that the Almighty God made you to reflect Him. Today, resist every voice that tells you otherwise.

Personal Reflection: What voices in your life have been defining your identity more than God's truth? Write down one lie you have believed about yourself and replace it with the truth that you are made in the image of God.

Practical Application: Before you open your phone or begin your daily routine this morning, pause and speak this declaration aloud: "I am made in the image of God. My worth is established by my Creator, not by this world."
