Day 2: Never Mistake Delay for Denial

Reading: Exodus 14:1-14

Devotional: The Israelites stood at the Red Sea with Pharaoh approaching from behind and impossible waters ahead. In that moment, they forgot every miracle God had performed to bring them there. Fear gave them spiritual amnesia. When circumstances look impossible, we often magnify our problems while minimizing God's power. But here's the truth: if God brought you this far, He didn't bring you here to let you drown. Moses' words ring true for us today: "Don't be afraid. Stand still and watch the Lord rescue you." Before you panic about what's ahead or behind, redirect your gaze to the presence of God. He hears your cries. He sees your circumstances. And He's already working on your behalf.
