Day 2: Promises Before Details

Reading: Hebrews 11:8-10

Devotional: Abram received incredible promises—a great nation, blessing, a renowned name, and impact on all families of earth—but zero details about the journey. God gives promises before He gives directions because He wants our trust, not our planning. We often want to be blessed right where we are, in our comfort zones, but God says the blessing comes through obedience to leave. Faith isn't having all the answers; it's trusting the One who does. Abram didn't know how many "movies" the journey would take or what obstacles awaited. He simply knew God's presence was going with him, and that was enough. Stop demanding the entire roadmap. Trust Him for just the next step.
