Day 3: Obedience Unlocks Blessing

Reading: James 1:22-25

Devotional: Genesis 12:4 may be one of the most overlooked verses in Scripture: "So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed." Everything we know about Abraham hinges on this moment of obedience. No debate. No delay. No demand for details. He simply left. Obedience is the hinge that swings open the door to God's blessings. Disobedience blocks them. Many of us want God to move in our lives without taking the step He's already asked us to take. We want the next word from God while ignoring the last one He gave us. God won't bless you in disobedience or speak new direction when you haven't followed the last instruction. What is the "Genesis 12:4 moment" God is waiting for in your life?
